The “What If” Gift
We want a lot of stuff.
We pray for a lot of things.
We plead, cajole, and cry for things that we believe we need in our lives to truly live fully and be satisfied deeply.
When we don’t get the things we think we need, when we think we need them, our response isn’t always pretty…
What if, instead of pleading for more, we prayed in faith more.
What if, while we are ‘waiting’ for what we think we want/need, we stewarded what we already had with grace, humility and integrity?
What if, instead of filling our lives with more, we just lived more?
What if, a shift from (bad) attitude to gratitude revealed hidden gems all around our lives?
What if, we just needed to start chipping away the mud and dust and rough edges of the things we do have to reveal what we want to have?
What if, “the gift” we seek is already in our hands?
What if ♥
